EIST ERP Base for Odoo 19

Foundation module for the EIST ERP product line. System branding, server operations, GeoIP maintenance, Apps list controls, multi-company helpers and portal address rules — without depending on Odoo Enterprise.

System branding

Configure the product name shown in the web client (eist_erp.system_name), optionally append the company name, and manage favicon, square logo, copyright text, documentation URL and support URL on the company record.

Logging & timezone

On Linux with a configured logfile: enable date-based log rotation (midnight rollover), set retention days cleaned by cron, and view/refresh the server local timezone. OS platform and logfile usage are shown as read-only status from the running server.

GeoIP (MaxMind GeoLite2)

When geoip_city_db / geoip_country_db are set in odoo.conf, ERP Settings shows path status and writability. Store MaxMind Account ID and License Key, enable weekly auto-update, or run Update GeoLite2 now. For regions where City downloads are restricted (HTTP 451), a wizard confirms Country-only mode.

Apps & module management

Persist EIST module flags from the manifest (is_eist_module, free / premium). Optionally hide apps marked To Buy / Enterprise in the Apps list. Install hook reorders Extra Tools and refreshes the module list; uninstall cleans related parameters.

ERP Settings navigation

Dedicated ERP Settings app page groups base, brand, GeoIP, multi-company, applications and solution toggles. Settings form navigation and Bootstrap Icons are included for the backend UI.

Company & multi-company

Company fields for abbreviation, favicon, square logo, copyright and support links. Optional multi-company system data access limit for isolating company-scoped system records. Partner fax field and user menu hide / restricted menu helpers are also provided.

Database manager

Replaces the standard /web/database/* manager UI with EIST-branded QWeb templates. UI language follows Cookie / Accept-Language with translations from module i18n po files (no database session required for manager strings).

Portal address rules

Portal phone / mobile required flags (shared with the web theme settings) and frontend address interaction enhancements. Address templates extend the portal customer address flow.

ERP Settings exposes install toggles for companion modules when they are present in the addons path: Web Theme, POS base, Social / WeChat / WeCom / Feishu / DingTalk, and multi-platform web access.
